A: No, but they are related. Career Clusters are groupings of occupations/career specialties used as an organizing tool for curriculum, design and instruction. A Program of Study is a specific sequence of instruction (based on recommended standards and knowledge and skills) consisting of coursework, co-curricular activities, work-based learning, service learning and other learning experiences. This sequence of instruction provides preparation for a career.
Q: Who at my high school can help me develop my Program of Study?

A: Each high school is unique regarding whom is identified to develop and manage programs of study. Please contact your high school administration for assistance. You may also visit the Contact Us page to obtain contact information for your local technical college’s Tech Prep Coordinator.
Q: How do I build a Program of Study on the website?

A: First, contact your local technical college’s Tech Prep Coordinator to obtain a user name and password.

A: Yes, you can edit your Program of Study by clicking on "My Programs of Study" and choosing the Edit function.

A: This website is free and accessible to all Wisconsin residents.
